Functional Rehabilitation

A key part of every examination here at Active Health Solutions is observing how a patient moves and functions. Improper movement patterns, or movement dysfunction, are often the key contributor to pain syndromes and poor performance. By giving patients proper exercises to treat the dysfunction, proper movement can be restored which will lead to pain relief and improved performance. Drs Cotter and Remsburg have trained with various leaders in this field, including Pavel Kolar, Brett Winchester, Stuart McGill, Corey Campbell, Dave Juehring, Clayton Skaggs and Craig Morris among others.

  • Active Health Solutions uses the most current evidence-based protocols and techniques to functionally assess and treat patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions (disorders of the nerves, joints, and muscles). With extensive hours in post-graduate education (over 1000 hours), the doctors at Active Health Solutions have a variety of treatment methods which allows them the ability to individually customize the treatment for each patient. This unique approach and extensive post-graduate work sets Active Health Solutions apart from other clinics. Please click on any of the services on the left for more detailed information.
